Our promise to you is to do our best work for you, to be honest, be on time and be respectful of your needs.
Our primary services are listed here, but there are other less common things that we do too. The goal is to help you get back to health and stay that way.
Cleanings, Scaling and Root Planing: These may be the regular cleanings you're used to getting every six months, or they can be more involved for those with periodontal disease. In either case the goal is to keep your teeth healthy and happy for as long as you can by keeping the supporting gums and bone clean and healthy.
Preventive Dentistry: We love this! Education is the key to doing better in the future.
Digital X-rays: In our constant effort to improve health, digital x-rays significantly reduce exposure to radiation from x-rays. Our biggest set of x-rays, taken roughly every five years, has the equivalent radiation exposure to a plane flight.
Composite Fillings: These are bonded, white fillings that are strong and beautiful, and blend right in with your natural teeth.
Crowns and Bridges: When a tooth is too weakened, or is missing too much to support a filling, crowns are used to cover, strengthen and restore the tooth. Bridges are crowns joined together, with one on either end of a gap, and one or more replacing the missing ones in between.
Dental Implant Restoration: Step one is having a conversation with you about the place where you have a missing a tooth. After deciding, together, that an implant is the way you want to go, we refer to a trusted, local oral surgeon who places the implant in the jaw where needed. Then my office restores the implant with the abutment and crown. This means we put a tooth on the "substitute root", or implant, that the oral surgeon placed.
Root Canals: No one wants one, but most are grateful they got one when their toothache goes away. They're not as bad as everyone says.
Dentures: These could replace a full set of teeth, or just the ones that are missing.
Extractions: If needed, we are very comfortable with any type of extraction. Sometimes we place bone grafts in the remaining socket to keep the bone robust for a future dental implant.
Wisdom Teeth Removal: It's true... you don't always have to go to the oral surgeon and be put to sleep for this. The most frequent comment I get after removing wisdom teeth is, "Is that it??"
Porcelain Veneers: Want a new smile? These are beautiful. They can change the contour, color and look of your smile.
Teeth Whitening: We have a variety of options. They are all safe and will whiten your teeth as much as possible.
Pinhole Surgical Technique: This is a periodontal procedure to bring gums back, close to their original height, after gum recession. Not everyone with gum recession is a candidate, but it is very successful for those who are.
Oral Pathology Exam: This is done with every dental exam. We occasionally do brush biopsies if something looks suspicious, and we refer out when we see things that might need more extensive evaluation.
Pediatric Dentistry: We love children! If they are part of your family, bring them in! Start at age 2 and a half or 3. They'll have fun and learn all about what we do.
